- K-State grad from Lawrence Kansas, started training under Ed Steele (Homestead Hardwoods) in Lawrence at age 17, working through high school and college
- Engineering degree from K-State- Construction Science & Management
- 30 years’ experience (started at age 17 in 1992)
- Long-time member of the National Hardwood Floor Association
- Superintendent of high end remodeling company, Duell Construction in Manhattan, KS, helping deliver stunning transformations
- Loves to hunt, fish in his limited free time; spent a few weeks in Alaska a few years ago hunting moose, bear, and wolves
